Getting started
- 1Buy the wedding website on Etsy and open the instructions included with your purchase.
- 2Follow the link in those instructions to open your copy of the website. You'll need a Lovable account — a free one is enough to get started, and Lovable's own usage limits and pricing apply.
- 3The welcome setup guide opens automatically the first time and walks you through your names, date, venue, design and first photo.
Personalising your website
- 1Open the heart button in the bottom-left corner of your website to open the editor.
- 2Work through the plain-English groups: your wedding, the day itself, people & guests, helpful information, replies & sharing.
- 3Everything you type appears on the page instantly and is saved on your own computer as you go.
Uploading photos
- 1In the editor, choose the photo you want to change and upload a picture from your computer or phone.
- 2Landscape photos work best for the big opening image; square or portrait photos suit the gallery.
- 3Gallery photos can be reordered, and each one can be grouped (for example engagement, venue, us).
Setting up RSVP
- 1Open 'Replies & sharing' in the editor and set your RSVP deadline.
- 2Choose how replies reach you: saved to your website's own guest list, sent to your email through a free form service, or opened in your email app as a fallback.
- 3Send yourself a test reply before you share the website with guests.
Managing guests
- 1Replies saved to your website appear on your private guest replies page after you sign in.
- 2You'll see who's coming, meal choices, dietary requirements, songs and messages, with totals at the top.
- 3You can search, filter, copy guest email addresses, download everything as a spreadsheet file, or delete a reply.
Publishing your website
- 1When you're happy with your website, press Publish in Lovable to put it online.
- 2You'll get a shareable web address straight away. A custom web address of your own can be connected later if you'd like one.
- 3Use the 'Share your website' panel in the editor to copy the link or send it by WhatsApp or email.
Backup & export
- 1The editor has a Backup button that saves all of your wording, photos and settings to a file on your computer.
- 2Restore brings everything back if you switch computers or clear your browser.
- 3Take a backup before making big changes — it takes a few seconds and saves a lot of worry.
